Iceland Stopover Program 

Stopping in Iceland is easy and fun- and a great incentive to fly Icelandair. Your client can stop for up to seven nights in Iceland at no additional airfare with the lowest sale fares and packages, and longer stops are available too!

The options for the Iceland Stopover program include:

Adding a stopover to an airfare-only itinerary. To add a stopover to your client's itinerary, simply book the flights in your system. With most sale fares a stopover in Iceland cannot exceed 7 nights and must be in one direction only. Some fares allow a longer stopover -- consult fare rules for details.

Adding a hotel to a stopover in Iceland. Special hotel rates are available to passengers stopping over in Iceland en route to Europe. To book these rates please contact General Reservations at 1-800-223-5500. In order to draw commission from these hotel bookings you must create an MCO for the amount of the hotel booking for the passenger to hand carry to the hotel. Payment may also be made directly to the hotel, however this procedure is not commissionable.
